Now press on the Mode tool to be able to draw in object mode.
Ok let's start by opening a canvas 100x100. This
base we are doing is a tiny doll base. This will be perfect to make your
own little signatures.
We will start by drawing a guideline.
Let press on our mode button and draw a straight line and another line
across where you feel the size of the head seems ok. Always remember that it
is ok to use the eraser as many times as you want. That's the key to making it
look right.

Now deselect the mode so our guideline become one object.
Ok we are now pressing again the mode button.
We will start with one side of the head.
Draw the right side of the head.
Just like I did on figure 2.
figure 2
Deselect mode and duplicate the object.
And place it on the left side like figure 3
figure 3
Deselect mode.
Now we will start drawing the right side body.
Select mode again.
As you will notice I drew a line under the guideline
of the head.
Don't worry on how it looks right now because we will fix all that at the end
of drawing the base.
figure 4
Deselect mode.
Duplicate and place it on the left side.
So figure 5 is what you should see on your canvas right now.

If you have not saved yet, it would be a good time to do so. Saving many times
is the key of not losing your work in progress.
Ok now we will select mode again.
Draw the right leg with foot just like figure 6.
figure 6
Deselect mode.
Duplicate the object and place it on the left side.
figure 7
Now we will hide the guideline object.
This is what you should see on your canvas.
figure 8
Select mode again.
Now you need to add the missing lines and erase a little part of the neck part
to make it look nicer.
Remember that the eraser is your best tool for making outlines.
figure 9
Now delete the guideline and merge all the other objects together.
And change the black color of the outline with a skin color tone.
